Objective

After the course, you will be able to:
1) Understand the diverse values behind environmental attitudes and their implications for resource management.
2) Apply principles of environmental economics to analyse natural capital, market failures, and valuation methods for sustainable resource management.
3) Understand the impacts of climate change on precipitation, temperature, and natural disasters, and assess strategies for adaptation and mitigation.
4) Analyse global natural resource challenges, including food production, freshwater availability, mining, and forest management, and explore sustainable utilisation strategies in the context of international environmental agreements and governance mechanisms.
