Objective
You know machine automation devices and you know how to design control programs, taking safety into account. You know the basic electrical drawing symbols and know how to use their features in control design. You are able to independently design basic electro-pneumatic controls and basic PLC programming.

Teaching methods
Opintojaksossa opetellaan sähköllä teteutettuja ohjauksia. Keskeisinä ohjauksen tapoina ovat rele- ja logiikkaohjaus. Opintojaksolla opetellaan erilaisten antureiden käyttäminen ohjauksessa. Keskeisinä ohjelmistoina käytetään fluidsimiä sekä logiikkaohjelmistoa.
