Objective

Know the quality requirements for wood fuel from the perspective of heating and power generation. Calculate energy content and density of wood chips according to the standards. Know biomass fuel production and use potential, based on location and size and taking into account sustainability criteria. Understand the supply and production chains of energy systems based on forest biomass. Know the production process of processed wood products. Calculate size and viability for small wood chip production and heating pellet sites.

Content

The main contents of the course include:
- properties and quality requirements for wood fuels
- Sustainable biomass production
- Energy production using kPa
- Solid processed wood products
