Objective
Well-being and Ergonomics at Work, 2 ECTS
- You will become familiar with the concepts of well-being at work, work ability, occupational health and ergonomics, their interrelationship and their importance for the community and the individual.
- You will be able to identify and assess work-related stress factors and resources.
- You will be able to plan and carry out a workplace visit and write a workplace visit report.
Ergonomics 1,5 op
- You will be able to handle the most common transfer and lifting situations to promote patient function and rehabilitation.
- You will be able to use a variety of assistive devices / aids appropriately in the most common transfer and lifting situations.
- You know how to use biomechanics to assist patient movement.
- You will be aware of the importance of body control in safe patient transfers.
Avekki, 0,5 op
- You understand the principles of the Avekki modality.
- Motivate and gain the capability to operate according to the AVEKKI-procedure model in the prevention and management of threatening and violent situations.

- Identification and assessment of work stress factors and resources.

Teaching methods
In this course
You will deepen your understanding of the role of well-being and work ergonomics in supporting the well-being, health and functional capacity of community and individual clients and patients.
You will learn how to identify and use patient transfers that promote the client's or patient's ability to function and independence, as well as patient safety and your own occupational safety.
You will be equipped to act in accordance with the AVEKKI-procedure model to prevent and manage threatening and violent situations.
