Objective
You will be familiar with the impacts of climate change on Finnish forests and forestry, as well as how forestry operators are preparing for the challenges brought about by climate change. You are able to assess and apply current and developing forest management methods from a climate change perspective. You will understand the effects of climate change on the planning and implementation of timber procurement and forestry operations. Additionally, you deepen your knowledge of forest ecology, forest damage, forest breeding, Finnish tree species, and biodiversity from the perspective of climate change.
