Climate City Joensuu 2025 project organizes a Hackathon innovation competition together with Business Joensuu. Hackathon will be part of Sohjo event next spring, March 12-13, and will be called Sohjo Hacks. The innovation competition has its own challenge categories for business and student teams. This year, the hackathon has a student category with the theme "Sustainable student life with the services of the sharing economy". The challenges become more specific closer to the event.

You should have your own team for the hackathon. The exact number of participants/team is not known at this stage (probably 3-4 students).

In practice, the implementation of the course requires:
a) assembling your own team and registering all team members for the course at Peppi (and later registration to Sohjo Hacks)
b) possible advance planning of challenges
c) participation in the hackathon on March 12-13, 2025.
d) writing a report about the hackathon and submitting it to the responsible teacher
