Objective

You can define the key principles of highlighting worries, addressing concerns and motivational discussion methods and the RAI performance appraisal system, and apply the methods in practice

Content

Essential content:

Method for taking up one's worries:
- principles and steps for taking up
- a dialogue
- early intervention

Motivational discussion:
- phase model of behavior change
- key principles and methods of motivational discussion
- motivational discussion in practice

RAI assessment system:
- basics of RAI assessment system
- glossary and equipment of RAI assessment system
- implementation of RAI assessment and use of assessment data

The course includes individual and group work in face-to-face and distance learning.

Student workload

The scope of the course is 2 credits, which means 54 hours of student work.

The content of the course is divided into units that are spread over the entire implementation period. The units of tasks must be completed in the given order.

Recognition of previously acquired knowledge: it is possible with a corresponding previous achievement. It is also possible by presenting a certificate of completion of the method in question.

Assessment methods and criteria

The course is assessed as passed - needs to be completed - failed.

The prerequisite for an approved course is participation in teaching, completion of independent assignments, and completion of group/team assignments.

The course assignments must be returned by the end of the course, but no later than the end of the following semester, or the student must complete the entire course again.
