Objective

Student will understand:how financial markets work. Understands how to make investment calculations. Understands the basics of financial planning - and understands how financial planning is linked to the different time periods of business planning. Students will be able to: make investment calculations and identify the financial needs of an SME be able to analyse the financing options offered by the financial markets and to make financial calculations.

- Loan financing (equity and debt)
- Investments and their planning
- Cash management
- Short-term financing
- Financial/financial statement analysis
- Payments, collection and credit management

You will also learn about the legislation relating to business and financial activities and about investment activities as part of the financial planning of a business.

Teaching methods

Kurssilla tutustutaan seuraaviin käsitteisiin ja termeihin teorian, harjoitusten ja tehtävien kautta:

- Rahoituksen perusteet
- Lainarahoitus (oma ja vieras pääoma)
- Investoinnit ja niiden suunnittelu
- Kassanhallinta
- Lyhyen aikavälin rahoitus
- Rahoitus-/tilinpäätösanalyysi
- Maksuliikenne, perintä ja luotonhallinta

Lisäksi tutustutaan yritys- ja rahoitustoimintaan liittyvään lainsäädäntöön sekä sijoitustoimintaan osana yrityksen rahoitussuunnittelua.
