Objective
On completion of the course you will be able to
- identify basic concepts and issues relating to culture and intercultural communication
- apply theories of intercultural communication into your own professional context
- pay attention to your own communication skills in working life
- analyse the role of intercultural communication competence as a professional skill in different work settings

Culture, cultural diversity, cultural awareness, intercultural communication, communication competence.
Location and time
Modes of study: Kick-off seminar (2 h), concluding seminar (2 h), Independent studying 131 h.
Evaluation criteria: Written learning assignments in the online learning environment: 0-5.
