Objective
After completing this learning unit students are able to:
- Analyse the concepts, determinants, challenges and political agenda of Active Ageing/Healthy Ageing in the local, national and global context
- Criticallly analyse, compare and synthesise examples of best practices to implement Active Ageing Approach in own working environment
- Plan, implement and promote health, well-being and participation among older people using an active ageing approach
Accomplishment methods
On-line tutorials, independent searches of literature and group tasks., e.g. a journal club discussions, preparation of presentation for interdisciplinary audience.This learning unit is taught in English,

Teaching methods
This module is offered in English language only, including the assessment tasks. There will be
four on -line tutorials, students independent work in groups and individually, tasks and final assignment.
Tutorials are held via the on-line Collaborate site.
The detailed schedule and tasks will be published on the Moodle before the module start.

5 ECTS credits: av.135 SEHrs; 4x45min on-line contact, independent and group work, task preparation and assignment.
