Objective

General Objectives of Physiotherapy Practice:

Physiotherapy practice is a learning process aimed at familiarizing the student with the key practical tasks of the physiotherapist profession (Karelia University of Applied Sciences Degree Regulations 2020).

In physiotherapy practice, the student applies, analyzes, and evaluates their own competencies broadly across the core areas of physiotherapy expertise.

In physiotherapy practice, the student applies, analyzes, and evaluates evidence-based knowledge, skills, and competencies needed at various stages of physiotherapy processes.

In physiotherapy practice, the student applies, analyzes, and evaluates their knowledge, skills, and competencies in various physiotherapy work and operational environments, with different clients and patients, as well as with different client and patient groups.

Content

Työikäisten toimintakyvyn tukemiseen tähtäävä fysioterapia.

Harjoittelupaikat
- Karelian oppimis- ja palveluympäristö TARMO
- Siun sote, harjoittelupaikat kantakaupungissa ja maakunnassa (tk:n avofysioterapia)
- Itsenäisesti hankittava harjoittelupaikka: Työikäisten fysioterapia yksityisessä terveydenhuollossa tai julkisessa terveydenhuollossa muualla Suomessa.

- Harjoittelupaikkojen jakamisessa noudatetaan opiskelijaryhmän kesken tehtyä harjoittelupaikkojen jakamis- ja rotaatiosuunnitelmaa, joka on tehty 2. lukukauden alkupuolella tutoropettajan ohjauksessa.
- Tämän jälkeen harjoittelupaikan varaus ja hankinta on opiskelijan vastuulla.
