Your grade will consist of the following parts:
The Business Model Canvas 40%
Group's presentation of Business Model Canvas forms 40% of grade. Contents, creativity of the business model and group cohesion form the basis for the grading.
The written business plan 40%
Group's written business plan, based on your business model. The written business plan forms 40% of grade.
Activity 20%
Activity in class, consultations, presentations, added with overall opinion of your group peers.
Assessment criteria, fail (0)
Grade 0 (Failing):
The business model is significantly incomplete or entirely missing, with no evidence of creativity or originality. Group cohesion and collaboration are non-existent, with little to no contribution from members.
The written business plan is significantly incomplete or entirely missing, lacking structure, detail, and coherence, with numerous grammatical and spelling errors. Participation in class and consultations is minimal to none, presentation skills are very poor, and feedback from peers is overwhelmingly negative.
The student fails to meet the basic requirements and learning objectives, showing a lack of necessary skills and knowledge. Additionally, the use of AI exceeds 5%, indicating a lack of original work and effort.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Grade 1 (Needs improvement):
The business model is incomplete or unclear, lacking creativity and originality. Group cohesion and collaboration are poor.
The written business plan has incomplete sections, lacks detail and coherence, and is poorly structured with numerous grammatical and spelling errors.
Participation in class and consultations is minimal, presentation skills are poor, and feedback from peers is negative.
Grade 2 (Satisfactory):
The business model is basic with some gaps and limited creativity and originality. Group cohesion and collaboration are adequate.
The written business plan has a basic structure with some incomplete sections, some coherence but lacks depth, and several grammatical and spelling errors.
Participation in class and consultations is moderate, presentation skills are adequate, and feedback from peers is mixed.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
Grade 3 (Good):
The business model is clear and complete with some creativity and originality. Group cohesion and collaboration are good.
The written business plan is well-structured with most sections complete, coherent, and logical, with few grammatical and spelling errors.
Participation in class and consultations is active, presentation skills are good, and feedback from peers is positive.
Grade 4 (Very good):
The business model is detailed and comprehensive with a high level of creativity and originality. Group cohesion and collaboration are strong.
The written business plan is thorough and well-structured, with clear and logical flow and detailed sections, and minimal grammatical and spelling errors.
Participation in class and consultations is very active, presentation skills are very good, and feedback from peers is very positive.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Grade 5 (Excellent):
The business model is exceptionally detailed and innovative with outstanding creativity and originality.
Group cohesion and collaboration are excellent. The written business plan is exceptionally thorough and well-structured, with clear, logical, and highly detailed sections, and virtually no grammatical or spelling errors.
Participation in class and consultations is exceptional, presentation skills are excellent, and feedback from peers is extremely positive.
