Objective

You are able to do multi-professional work as a member of a team. You are able to act client-oriented in co-operation with elderly clients, their families and organizations in different working environments. You are able to exam and analyze provisions and health restrictions for mobility and mental capacity. You are able to work out a physiotherapeutic plan together with the clients and their close relatives and other experts. You are able to use theoretically well-argued methods of physiotherapy appropriately to improve the mobility of your clients and for their health promotion or maintenance.

Content

Multi-professional work. Gerotechnology. Examination of physical mobility and mental capacity of an elderly client. Endurance-, balance- and strength training for an elderly client. How can accidents caused by slipping, stumbin and falling be prevented by means of physiotherapy. Memory loss or chronical amnesia and physiotherapy. The content will be executed within the Research, development and services- activities.
