Objective

Neurological Physiotherapy for Adults, 5 Cr. You know the basics of application-oriented physiotherapy and you are able to apply them in the Physiotherapy for neurological client.You are able to apply the principles of motor learning in the physiotherapy for neurological clients.You are able to evaluate, detect and follow-up the preconditions, limits and physical resources for the rehabilitation of a neurological client according to the ICF classification as a frame of reference.You are able to react on the alterations on the mobility, physical condition and physical resources of a neurological client responsibly and consequently.You are able to work out a consequent and evidence-based therapy process together with the neurological client, his/her relatives and/or other instances in question.You understand the significance of a multi-professional co-operation in the rehabilitation of the client.You are able to implement the physiotherapeutic process of a neurological client (from the acute illness to a chronic course).You are able to inform, guide and support the neurological client and his/her relatives in a condition promoting and maintaining self-treatment and exercising independently. You are able to control the continuity and maintenance of the rehabilitation.You know the typical influence on the most common neurological diseases on the physical capability, movement and well-being of the client and you are able to apply the most common principles and recommendations of physiotherapy on a neurological client.You can find and apply new information, explain why you have chosen certain methods and are able to evaluate critically the implementation of neurological physiotherapy.You are familiar with methods of psychophysical physiotherapy and understand the importance of psychophysical physiotherapy as a part of the holistic physiotherapy.You are able to apply different methods of psychophysical physiotherapy for the needs of different client groups.Neuropsychology 0,5 Cr.You know what is included in neuropsychology as a profession and science.You have the basic knowledge on neuroanatomy and cognitive psychology. Observation and observation disorders (functions of the occipital lobe). Integration of observation and motor functions and motor disorders (functions of the parietal lobe), language, hearing and speech disorders functions of the temporal lobe). Memory, attentiveness and coordination (functions of the prefrontal lobe).You see the connections between neuropsychology and physiotherapy (client cases).You are able to act multiprofessionally (client cases)Neurological physiotherapy for children, 0,5 Cr.You have the basic knowledge on the physiotherapy for children and you are able to execute and apply it at the practical therapy work client-oriented and safely.

Lectures 54 h. Preparation and execution of the own theme 12 h. Preparation , execution and reporting of the physiotherapy with the neurological client 27 h, independent studying 42 h, lectures of the neuropsychologist 8 h, independent studying 19 h.
