Objective

The studentis able to take advantage of special steels in the design of structures under static and fatigue loading, and is able to take advantage of the strength measurements as part of the product development process.

Content

The course consists of the following sections- state of stress- the generalized Hooke's law- high-strength steels in structural design- structural analysis of structures under fatigue loading- consideration of creep in structural design-strain gage measurements of steel structures-static and dynamic testing of steel structures
