Objective

You can differentiate between different types of memory diseases and memory disorders
You are able to explain various symptoms of memory disorders and differences between normal and abnormal
You can justify the importance of early recognition of memory disorders and different treatment policies and you know the principles of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment methods
You find solutions for bringing up the topic of memory disorders
You are able to justify the importance of encountering people with memory disorders and their next of kin
You are able to apply your knowledge in interpreting the changed behaviour of people with memory disorders
You understand the effects of memory disorders on cognitive, social, physical and psychological functioning
