Objective

After completing the course, students will understand the meaning of innovations and their implementation, learn to know various innovation development tools and have some experience in innovation development processes, including the developing of innovations by observing the role of markets and customer.

Introduction lectures, exercises and student presentations on developing innovations.

The course is lectured in English every two years (in the spring of the odd year).

Execution methods

Blended teaching. The course will be organised as lectures, exercises and exam(s). If needed lectures are presented virtually and exams will be replaced by learning tasks.

Accomplishment methods

Lectures (24 h), exercises, teamwork practices and reports (60 h), independent learning (24 h). The grade of the course is based on learning assignments and exam(s) unless the latter is replaced by additional learning tasks. Examination 0-5 (0=failed, 5=excellent) and continuous evaluation.
