Objective

Upon completing the course the students: - understand the connections between economics and decision making in multiple-use of forests. - learn to know the basic concepts of neoclassical economics and; - will be able to calculate profitability of different options of forest use.

Multiple-use of forests as an application area of economics. Basic concepts and assumptions of neoclassical economics. Using investment criteria when calculating profitability of forest use.
