Objective

The student is able to - identify and describe risk factors that predispose to suicide risk as well as protective factors - recognize and describe warning signs indicative of suicide risk - apply interpersonal skills when encountering a suicidal person and addressing suicidal ideation - utilize necessary knowledge and skills in suicide prevention within prison settings
