Objective

You know and recognize the most important microbial organism groups, the habitat and reproduction demands of the microbes. You know the meaning and importance of the microbes in the different kind of ecosystems. You are capable to recocgnize the common microbes by using the microscope. You master the sampling of aquatic microbes and basics of the management of the samples in the field working and in the laboratory. You are able to recognize preliminary those aquatic microbe taxons and do the conclusions of the condition of the aquatic ecosystem.

Content

The fundamentals of taxonomy and ecology of microbes. The utilization of the microbes in the different kind of purification processes, production of biogas and for defining the condition of an ecosystem. The planning and implementation of the sampling of aquatic microbes and the treatment of the samples during the field working and in the laboratory. Preliminary recognition of the taxons and the defining and estimation of the indicator value and biodiversity of the taxons. The preparation of the study and planning report based on the data collected from the aquatic ecosystems in accordance with the construction of the scientific report.
