- You are familiar with the most common mental health disorders and understand their impact on the well-being and daily life of older adults.
- You are able to apply a culturally sensitive approach in elderly care.
- You can maintain collaborative relationships and utilize key mental health and substance abuse work methods to support older adults and their loved ones.
- You are able to promote the self-determination and individuality of older adults to ensure a dignified life.
- You are capable of engaging in accepting, empathetic, dialogical, and reflective interaction and encounters with people from diverse backgrounds.
