Practical Training (10cr)

Objective

Supervised internship aims at supporting the learning of students by their gaining of practical experience of the tasks in their professional fields and by internalizing prevailing practices, rights and duties in working life, thus clarifying the demanding tasks of the profession. In addition, leadership skills, competences in group work and problem solving are being developed

Content

Supervised trainig is carried out in the spring term. In the training, students familiarize themselves with the working environment of their future profession. Vocational practice initiates students to the competences needed by an engineer.Trainees perform advanced tasks and functions of the field of study. These include, for example, managerial duties and independent planning assignments. We recommed that part of the training be completed abroad. A written report of the internship is required.
