Objective

The aim is to understand the basics of a company s financial planning, management and steeringas well as the basics of taxation. The student is able to set goals for a company s financial development, steer the business according to the goals set, and monitor if the goals are met.

Content

Basics elements and concepts of business accounting and finance.* Financial planning, steering and monitoring.* Pricing of products and services, profitability of a company, monitoring of the profitability* Basics of accounting, the Finnish tax system, business taxation, and VAT.The course includes two AC meetings on Wednesday 24 January 2018 at 17-19 and on Wednesday 31 January 2018 at 17-19. Independent, scheduled studying during other weeks.
