Objective
Machine Elements 1 (5 cr)The aim is to learn function principles of common parts of machines. Thestudent also learns how to dimension and design mechanics of machines, and practices how to use technical information.Material Technology (2 cr)The student learns the basics of metal technology and chemical structureof metallic materials, thermal treatment of metals and essentialproperties of metallic materials. The student is able to compareproperties of materials and select materials.Mathematics (3 cr) The student's goal is to understand the change of function on infinitelysmall interval and the total change of function. Students are familiarwith the derivation and integration rules. Students are able to applythese rules in practical problems.
