Objective

Familiarization with the Studies:You are able to use the services and learning environments of Karelia University of Applied Sciences.As a student in higher education you are able to act according to good manners and work practices.You learn to evaluate your own knowledge and professional growth and you see appraisals as a part of a workplace practice.You cluster in the student circle and contribute to the good study atmosphere.You are familiar with the activities and services of the student union.You take responsability for your own studying and professional growth as well as your learning ability, well-being and and manage the study-related stress.Familiarization with the own profession:You are familiar with your study plan and the working methods in your degree programme.You formulate the process of a personal study plan and you are able to work it out for you.You know the principles and practices of accreditation of prior studies (AHOT).You know the actors involved in student counselling and are able to ask for counselling from the right persons, if neccessaryYou begin to familiarize with the workplace practices in your own field.
