Basis and legislation of social services and health care politics and the structure of health care, rehabilitation and social services (1 cr) You understand the basis of social services and health care politics, the legislation and ethical values guiding itYou are familiar with the structure of health care, rehabilitation and social services and the role of public utilities and service providers within the service systemOrientative practical training (1 cr.)- you get the impression of various working environments of physiotherapyChanging relations of public, private and third sector (1 op)Having completed the study unit you are- familiar with Finnish system of social, health and rehabilitation services- able to understand the changing relations of public, private and third sector in social and health care services- able to identify local and regional welfare needs and challenges- able to recognize examples of low threshold service concepts in welfare field and understand benefits of such services to individuals and local communitieseServices and network communicationLegal principles of eServices and the requirements considering the data safety.You get the overview of available eServices and their operation both nationally and internationally.You know how to profit from eServices a a part of the overall care of the patient/client.You see your own role as produces of these services and as a profesional in social services and health care.You can guide your patient/client to take advantage of appropriate Social and health care services both in public and private sector as well as those of the third sector to promote the health and well-beingYou understand the neccessary skills as a producer of eServicesYou are able and experienced to guide and motivate the client to use the eServices for self-medication.You are able to use social media at work and divide your private and professional role when using social media.
