Objective

Mathematics LTR1002A
The student is able to apply vector and matrix calculus in his own field applications. In addition, he/she knows the basics of differential calculus and error assessment by differential. The student is also able to identify real-valued functions.

LTR1002B Physics
The student can apply scientific thinking, general principles and methods of oscillating and wave motion used in technical planning, technical implementation, product development and problem solving. The student also learns to communicate with all partners in other technical fields.

Chemics
The student understands the basics of chemistry which are applied in cement and civil engineering. Chemical and microbiological environment of house.

LKR2001 English:
You are able to recognise different learning strategies and communicate in English in your own field of civil engineering in the grammatically correct way. You are able to perceive your own language needs for the working life. You are able to make use of different tools in information retrieval and in interpretation and production of professional texts. You are able to talk about yourself and about your studies when applying for a job in English. You are able to communicate appropriately in everyday talking situations. You are able to present a product and describe a process in your own field. You are able to produce and give presentations in talking and write short reports in English.
