Objective
An internship is a learning process that aims to introduce you to the practical tasks relevant to your vocational studies in a guided way. You will do it in a work environment related to your field of study, where you will apply the knowledge and skills you have learned in practice in your field of work and in a real working environment. Traineeships may also offer you the opportunity to work on a thesis in a work community during your traineeship. During your traineeship, you will learn about working practices and get an up-to-date picture of the work in the field of communication. You will also make important contacts for the future.
Content
The traineeship process is a three-stage process:
1) Before the training
2) During the training
3) After the training
Before the placement, you will attend a placement information session, obtain a placement and sign a placement plan and contract. During your traineeship, you will participate as a member of the work community in a variety of tasks as a responsible, committed, cooperative and flexible employee and report and evaluate your traineeship experience. During your placement, you will also keep track of your working hours and have a development discussion with your placement supervisor. At the end/after the placement, you will write a final report on your placement, in which you will evaluate the development of your skills. The placement will also provide feedback on your placement.
