Objective

A) Practical Training 4 cr

-You can encounter older people and their close relatives with appreciation

-You can interact professionally with an older adult

-You recognize the stages of an individual's life course

-You identify the individual needs and resources of older people

-You can observe older people in their own living environment

-You´ll able to r ecognize the importance of data protection, information security, and cybersecurity in social and health care


B) Professional Development, 1 cr

-You acquire self-reflection skills and skills to evaluate your own actions

-You can act as a student of higher education and learn to know working life practices

-You become a part of the student community and, for your part, promote an encouraging study atmosphere

-You take responsibility for your own studies and professional development

-You know the curriculum of your own degree programme

-You understand the process of personal study planning and know how to make your own personal study plan (HOPS)

-You know the principles and practices of the recognition of prior learning (AHOT)

-You know how to seek for study counselling if needed

-You can act according to the principle of subsidiarity

Content

A) Practical Training 4 cr
Attend practicum orientation sessions

Participate in practical training placement

Set goals and engage in feedback discussions with the practice supervisor and supervising teacher

Complete practicum-related assignments

Reflect on practicum experiences

B) Professional Development, 1 cr
Participate in information sessions

Learn fundamentals of information literacy

Learn about information security, data protection, and cybersecurity

Take part in progress meetings

Attend teacher-tutor and student counselor sessions

Participate in team-building activities

Reflect on professional development
