Objective

1. You will learn to identify and understand the principles and regulations that guide the work of school staff, including curriculum requirements, student welfare legislation, and the structures and culture of everyday school life.

2. You will learn to recognize the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in promoting client rehabilitation, and to understand the roles, responsibilities, and opportunities for cooperation among professionals in the school context.

3. You will learn to describe the specific characteristics of occupational therapy practice in a school environment, including supporting daily functioning, enhancing learning readiness, modifying the environment, and collaborating with the student, family, and school personnel.
