Event Production (6cr)

Objective

You will be able to apply your previous knowledge and skills in various media production assignments. You will be able to manage many special tasks in media production. Firstly, you will be able to research and analyse new content and finally, to test theory via practice. Secondly, you will further develop your special skills and you will learn how to master complicate tasks, dealing with project works and customer needs. Finally, you will be able to act as a team member in project work and master a wide range of professional vocabulary in the industry and reflect on your own learning.

Content

The design and production of audiovisual different cases, such as advertisements, product and service presentations, information documents and campaigns.In workshop learning environment, manuscripts and production plans are developed, shows are video-recorded and edited. For a smooth processing, this course requires the Media Production 1 course. Therefore, the content and learning method remain the same in both course units.The student workload is shared as below:- Students do not have a standard schedule of class meetings and lectures. However, they have once a week a meeting regarding the progress of the production assignment and everyone is responsible for their own time and planning.- Learning requires a strong commitment andattendance, so self-motivation plays a great role for the work success and the personal growth. The students learn as members of the team, through their own experiences, their strengths and weaknesses.- At the end, the student prepares the final project report by using the online-system Teamwork, where the work´s timetable and process aredocumented.
