Methods for improving Creativity (2cr)

Objective

The student:- identifies both his/her strenghts and what he/she needs to improve in him/herself- is able to utilize active/collaborative methods in his/her own actions in a way that promotes creativity- is able to find new or alternative solutions to problems- understands the group as a creative resource and is able to take responsibility for realizing the group's shared aims

Content

In this course, we try to find resources in/from the student that helps creative problem solving. We also train ourselves to make the best use of the existing circumstances and to adapt to changes. By doing practical creativity exercises we try to find new ways of thinking and generating ideas, in order to examine matters and phenomena. The student will get tools for utilizing his/her skills to their full potential and for developing them individually and in a group. Essential themes are:- learning methods - supporting the learning of different contents- thinking skills - supporting understanding, applying information, analysing, evaluation and creating new- methods of distributing information- cooperation skills in a group (decision making, communication skills, equal participation, listening, observation, reaching mutual understanding)
