Objective

The wide-ranging work approach to employment and work ability course offers you the opportunity to delve into a topic that will develop your competence and also open up new perspectives and strengthen your professional identity. Whether you are just starting out in your field or already an experienced worker, you will have access to up-to-date information, practical tools to support your work ability. Let's work together to build an understanding and competence that will carry us far into the future

After completing the course, the student
• Understands the importance of maintaining, assessing and promoting cross-sectoral work capacity in its own role and identifies key risks for work capacity
• Manages approaches in goal setting to improve inclusion and agency
• Is able to choose methods to support employment and work capacity
• Is able to lead and coordinate different processes for work capacity
• Is able to participate in networks to support employees, employers and work community
• Is able to develop and promote employment and work capacity on different contexts

Content

This course of study will provide you with practical tools and up-to-date knowledge that will enable you to support the employment and work ability of individuals. You will learn to identify work ability risks and make use of early intervention methods. You will also deepen your understanding of, among other things, sustainable rehabilitation and return to work solutions. You will gain competence that allows you to support an individual's overall well-being as well as inclusion and agency in working life and job search.

Further information

The Reforming services for employment and work capacity 5 ECTS and the Wide-ranging approach to employment and work capacity (5 ECTS) together form the Work Capacity Coordinator training package 10 ECTS. Accepted completion of both courses gives the qualification to act as a Work Ability Coordinator.

The approved completion of the course The Reforming services for employment and work capacity (5 ECTS) must be completed before it is possible to complete Wide-ranging approach to employment and work capacity.
