• Explain the importance of climate mitigation in the context of climate resilient health systems.
• Critically analyse own work environment for climate mitigation opportunities.
• Develop strategies for reducing carbon footprint within the own work environment.
• Describe the near-term health co-benefits for older persons that arise due to climate mitigation (and climate adaptation).
• Apply knowledge of climate mitigation and health co-benefits.

Content

Health care systems have a dual role in climate change: on one hand, they are on the front line dealing with the consequences of climate change and, on the other hand, they have their own climate burden. You can influence the size of that carbon footprint!

- Mitigating climate change in health care
- Implementing climate change mitigation in health care
- Health co-benefits of climate mitigation
