Objective
The goal of this module is to strengthen the student's understanding of recognizing memory-related challenges and promoting brain health.
The student will learn to identify different types of memory issues, understand the related counseling and support services, and apply memory-related knowledge in everyday situations and client interactions. The aim is to develop practical skills that support both the student's and the client's memory health.
After completing the “Everyday Memory Skills – Recognize, Support, and Prevent Memory Challenges” module, you will:
• Recognize everyday memory challenges and phenomena that strain memory.
• Identify everyday methods to promote brain health and prevent memory issues.
• Recognize different types of memory problems and the counseling and support services available.
• Be able to apply memory-related knowledge in various everyday situations and encounters.

Have you ever had trouble remembering names, schedules, or important everyday things? Do your keys, glasses, or wallet tend to go missing from time to time?
Or perhaps you've been concerned about a loved one's memory and wondered what counts as normal forgetfulness—and when it's time to seek help?
In this study module, you’ll enhance your everyday memory skills.
The module consists of three main themes:
1. Everyday memory challenges
2. Concerned about memory? Where to find help and support
3. Tools from memory knowledge to address memory issues
The topics are approached from a strength-based perspective, meaning the goal is to find tools, methods, and solutions for memory challenges we encounter in everyday situations—both in professional life and personal experiences.
Everyday Memory Skills is designed for anyone interested in memory and practical memory knowledge—whether in their close circle, neighborhood, or workplace.
