Objective

A) Age Competence Development – Practical Training 8 cr.

- You can apply diverse elder care and guidance methods in care, treatment, and rehabilitation environments

- You can utilize service system opportunities and interprofessional collaboration in public, private, and third sector settings

- You can reflect on personal age-related expertise and identify development needs in relation to gerontologist competencies

- You can apply phases of development work in practice and produce written outputs on development targets

- You can identify development needs in elder care and practice a developmental work approach

B) Professional Development 1cr

- You can act in studies according to working life practices

- You can plan personal competence development and critically evaluate progress

- You can receive and provide developmental feedback

- You can make purposeful study-related choices aligned with career goals

Content

A) Age Competence Development – Practical Training 8 cr.
Attend practicum orientation sessions
