Objective

During the study unit you familiarize yourself with the key concepts related to finance, accounting, payroll, taxation and financial reporting. After successfully completing the study unit, you are able to instruct a non-Finnish customer of an accounting company, solve problems and reply to complaints regarding purchase and sales invoices. You are able to give a presentation on the financial situation of the company to the management group or to the board of directors. You are able to understand financial news, follow trends in financial markets and summarise the key information on speech and in writing.
