Objective
- You will be able to carry out evidence-based physiotherapeutic examination of the spine and pelvic region.
- You will be able to make clinical reasoning from your findings.
- You will be able to plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based physiotherapy treatment of the spine and pelvis.
Content
- Examination and assessment of the functional capacity of the lower back and pelvis, thoracic spine, neck and head (according to the ICF framework).
- Clinical reasoning, drawing conclusions about the client/patient's functional capacity, making a physiotherapeutic diagnosis.
- Application of pain management.
- Application of therapeutic exercise.
- Application of manual therapy techniques.
Materials
Prior studies successfully completed are a prerequisite for participation in the course.
The following previous studies must be completed before the start of the course:
- Developing and functioning human beings (11 ECTS)
- Multidisciplinary studies (HTT1, ASPA1, Fundamentals of Pharmacology and Pharmacology)
- Guidance skills in physiotherapy (5 ECTS)
- Functional assessment and support in physiotherapy (11 ECTS)
