Objective

You learn to understand basic functions of a green plant with emphasis on forest growth and ecology; Birth, growth, reproduction of plants and major physiological functions behind the phenomena.
You learn to understand the basic anatomy of plants and the way different parts of a plant function. You also learn to understand how the annual adaptation cycle of plants proceeds and what environmental factors affect the growth, reproduction and successful dormancy of plants.

Photosynthesis, respiration, water balance and nutrient intake of plants
Reproduction of plants: pollination, seed development, fruit and germination
