Objective

After completing the course, you will know the dimensions of heating power demand calculation and heating systems. You will know the different forms of heating (pellet, geothermal, district heating, renewable energies). You know how to meet energy efficiency requirements.

Content

The course deals with:
- power demand sizing
- selection of heat source and equipment dimensioning, e.g. district heating, geothermal, biofuels
- sizing of the heat pipe pump and control devices
- network balancing
- control of automatic temperature control
- CAD design of heating and cooling systems.
