During this study unit You will
- know how to use different sources of information in the construction industry
- use and read drawing markings
- be able to use and apply different terminology in the construction industry
- know the basic structures of a detached house, the most typical building components and their nomenclatures
- know the most typical building materials and their uses
- know the basic concepts of building physics

- parts of the building
- the most typical structural components and their nomenclatures (substructure and foundations, subfloor, intermediate and upper floor, aquifer, external walls and partitions, supplementary structures)
