Teaching methods
The course focuses on sound design through exercises and short sound design tasks. Sound design is needed in recordings such as films, documentaries, podcasts, audio dramas, game productions, as well as in theater and performing arts. By exploring the history of sound design, we gain insight into the characteristics of modern sound design. We focus on creating sound plans for pre-production, production, and post-processing, covering aspects such as recording, audio technology, software, and workflow. The emphasis is on learning sound design through practical experience, small group collaboration, guidance, and interactive discussions. Practical productions involve studying sound design, recording practices, and enhancing teamwork skills.
