Objective

The student's competence goals:
- knows the principles of project management and knows how to apply project management methods in media productions.
- knows different production methods and schedules of media projects.
- can evaluate and monitor the use of time in production to achieve the goal.
- knows the responsibilities of different parties in working life and knows how to act as the main responsible producer in media productions.
- knows how to lead his own work and the production team responsibly.

Content

The central theme of the study course is project management. Through lectures, exercises and group work, the study course introduces you to project management and management of media production, as well as managing your own work. Student's own work is reflected in individual tasks from the perspective of managing student's own work, and in group tasks from the perspective of managing a work group. Visitors e.g. from projects of the University of Applied Sciences, public administration, associations and companies tell about project management and management in their own productions.
