Objective
The student learns the basic elements of international legistlation concerning intellectual property rights and copyright, and the Finnish legistlation on copyrights and related intellectual property rights. The student learns to observe and respect intellectual property rights in student's own work and publishing activities in different media platforms, including social media. Issues of images, music and artworks will be highlighted, and an ethically grounded approach towards intellectual property rights will be introduced to student. The students also learns the of the roles and activities of the different copyright organizations, which regulate and manage copyright issues for their clients.
