Objective

You will learn about the basics of sound design. You will be able to use in studying the necessary hardware and software. You will study the analog and digital sound technology and know how to choose the appropriate equipment. You understand a little bit of sound technology and acoustics, as well as constraints in production processes. You know how to be an active member of a team and you know how to promote common goals.

Content

The course content consists of audio equipment necessary for the work-based learning, and sound design. The lectures and a variety of exercises introduce you to the commonly used audio recording equipment operating principles, as well as computer-based editing programs work. The students learn the basic principles of sound design and editing. The students learn the basics of acoustics and the physics of sound.
