Teaching methods

At the university of applied sciences, a training of at least 30 credits must be completed. The main responsibility for obtaining a training lies with the student. The training period is a learning process and its main goal is to acquaint the student with work tasks that are central to professional studies. Students can complete a training in a work environment related to their field of study or in their own company, or in a combination of the above. The goal is for the student to apply the knowledge and skills he has learned during the training in the tasks of his own field and in the work community. At the training, the student may be offered the opportunity to do a thesis.

Employer connections

Before the training period, the student acquires a training and makes an internship plan and contract with the representative of the training. During the training, the student participates in various work tasks as a member of the work community of the internship location. During and after the training, the student reports and evaluates his training experiences and gives feedback on his training period. The training supervisor approves the student's training and signs the training contract and acts as a supervisor during the training.

Student workload

The maximum length of the training is 30 credits, 801 hours.
