Objective
The student will be able to work closely with the stakeholders of forestry and/or energy and environmental engineering degree programmes (companies, communities, other organisations, projects) and be able to communicate effectively with them.
You will gain:
* In-depth knowledge of forest, energy or environmental issues within a company, community or organisation
* Collaboration with working life skilss
Content
The students will perform projects, studies, assessments, etc given by the stakeholders and will discuss and agree on the implementation methods and presentation of the results.The projects can include, to name a few, waste manaegment assessment of a company, study of the state of the environment of a village, market potential study, assessment of energy use in an office. The projects are gathered from Karelia stakeholders and presented at the end of the course.
