Objective

The goal of the study course is to give the event producer basic information about drone flight planning and industry regulations.

Content

In the course, you get to know the safety issues of flying a drone, the equipment and various examples of drone photography flights. The course consists of short lecture recordings, self-study and exercises. In addition to theory and planning, you can try using the drone flight simulator during the course on a separately agreed day.

Location and time

Moodle learning environment February 6–April 7, 2023

Teaching methods

Online studies in the Moodle environment, voluntary simulator workshop as a face-to-face meeting. The theory part of the study course, 1 credit, is completed entirely as online studies, which the student can complete independently according to his own schedule. If desired, the student can participate in a simulator workshop, where he can try using a drone. Part of the workshop 1 cr.

Student workload

2 credits equals 54 h of student working hours.
The amount of work is divided: Theory part of the course 1 credit = 27 h and workshop/assignment 1 credit.
