Tavoitteet
After completing the course, you will understand the concept of the EU Nature restoration law. You will also understand nature restoration actions in forests, freshwaters and peatlands. You will have knowledge of the characteristics of nature restoration in the EU.
You will have skills and experience of multicultural teamwork as well planning together as a team.
Sisältö
During the virtual phase, the students will look into their own country’s nature restoration projects in groups, to form a basis for understanding the issues in a wider context.
Lecturers and experts will provide short recorded introductory lectures on the topics followed by field visits to nature restoration sites.
During the onsite phase, multidisciplinary groups will work on a nature restoration case provided by the partner universities or their stakeholders.
