Osaamistavoitteet

The student familiarizes him/herself with some aspects of Russian culture, habits, and behaviour from the everyday perspective. He/she is able to compare his/her own culture to the Russian everyday behaviour.He/she is better aware of his/her own attitudes towards Russia and the Russians.He/she is better equipped to avoid cultural collisions and conflicts when participating in modern Russian business transactions.

The contents of the course- The basic principles of a traditional Russian way of life. A practical minimum, which will help the foreigner feel more comfortable in various situations of dialogue.- Reflecting on one's own view on Russia, the Russians and Russian culture.- An introduction to Russian business behavior and etiquette through the eyes of Western partners.
